Location: Ireland
Job Type: 6-Month Daily-Rate Contract (rolling)
Our client is a global leader in the Life Sciences industry and they are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join the team on a six-month rolling contract in Ireland. The successful candidate will work on first-of-its-kind products that will transform how life science challenges are addressed through the power of Agentic AI.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and agentic AI systems specifically for life science applications.
- Extract actionable insights from complex biological datasets to drive product development.
- Develop autonomous AI solutions that can navigate complex decision spaces.
- Collaborate with domain experts to ensure AI systems meet scientific requirements.
- Create prototype solutions and iteratively improve them based on testing results.
Skillset
- PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or related field.
- Minimum of three years experience applying machine learning in commercial settings.
- Strong programming skills in Python and relevant ML frameworks.
- Experience with large language models and autonomous agent architectures.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready AI systems.
- Prior experience working with Generative AI/LLMs is a bonus.
