In Barden we are delighted to be working with a large accounting firm in Cork who are expanding their tax team.

The Tax Assistant Manager / Manager will join a collaborative and approachable tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to deepen their expertise in international tax and work alongside a highly experienced team.

The successful individual will play a key role in managing a portfolio of international and domestic corporate tax clients, while also contributing to cross-border tax planning and advisory projects. This role offers broad exposure to international tax matters within a supportive and dynamic environment, with the opportunity to shape and grow the Cork tax practice.

Responsibilities include:

Managing international and domestic corporate tax compliance, ensuring timely delivery of services and quality output

Providing technical analysis and written advice on international tax matters including transfer pricing, cross-border structuring, and global tax reform developments

Identifying planning opportunities and preparing detailed technical memos and reports

Advising on international tax structuring and expansion plans for multinational clients

Supporting the development of the team in Cork through mentoring, supervision, and training

Playing an active role in business development and maintaining strong client relationships

About the person:

A qualified tax professional with a solid foundation in corporate tax and a keen interest or existing experience in international tax. Ideally operating at manager level, with the confidence to lead client engagements, support team development, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax function and the wider firm.
