Transport Planner - Dublin 11
Our client, a leading warehouse and distribution specialist with over 26 years of experience in transport and logistics, they provide top-tier services to some of Ireland's leading companies. They are a quality-driven, customer-focused team, and are looking for a dedicated and highly organised Transport Planner to join their growing company.

Location: Dublin 11
Work Schedule: 10.30am - 7pm (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule daily deliveries and collections efficiently.
  • Optimize fleet utilization and operational requirements.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager and team to ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Communicate routes and schedules effectively to drivers.
  • Act as the key contact for drivers regarding deliveries, routes, and customer issues.
  • Coordinate with fleet suppliers for vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Respond to client and subcontractor queries in a timely manner.
  • Deliver first-class customer service and support driver operations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a transport or logistics planning role
  • Strong knowledge of Ireland's geography
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Team player with a positive attitude
