Overview

Test Analyst @ Sabeo | Assoc. CIPD. Initially 12 month daily rate contract. Working within the Program team and reporting to the Test Manager, the Test Analyst will ensure timely execution of all project test activity. The role will be working with all stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of test cases, ensuring coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Define and prepare test data and upload/maintain within Azure Test plan.
  • Peer review test cases created by members of the project team / business users.
  • Execution of defined test cases and conduct ad hoc testing as required.
  • Provide progress reports as required (daily, weekly etc.).
  • Log issues / defects within Jira.
  • Work collaboratively across teams (system implementation partner, project teams, and business SMEs) to effectively communicate, resolve defects and other test-related issues in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years software testing experience on complex IT projects.
  • Jira experience is preferential.
  • Demonstrated communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, proactively address issues and work collaboratively to reach a solution that does not compromise quality.
  • Clearly demonstrates a thorough understanding of test methodologies, manual and automated testing in accordance with best practice testing standards.
  • Experience of testing complex, mission-critical systems is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of system implementations with complex integrations is a distinct advantage.

Some activities may specifically require an on-site presence, e.g., requirements workshops and/or test planning workshops. These will be planned and agreed in advance.
