We have a multi-disciplinary team of over 3,800+ professionals delivering complex projects in sectors such as life sciences, food and beverages, mission-critical ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy, and environmental sectors.

Due to ongoing success in securing large-scale projects, we are looking for Lead Piping Designers to join our Piping Department in Cork.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects, with potential to become the Piping Design Team Lead in a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Piping 3D modelling.
  • Develop technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics, and electronic models in accordance with project requirements, codes, and specifications.
  • Perform clash checking for pipe clashes.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects, ensuring coordination with project team members, clients, and external parties.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in industrial piping design.
  • 15+ years of piping design experience in chemical, bio-pharma, or similar industrial projects.
  • Experience with 3D modelling software such as Cadworx, PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant3D, or Plant3D.
  • Experience on international projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Engineering or Science-related degree (Level 6 Certificate or Level 7 Diploma/Ordinary Degree).
