Job Title: Oracle Developer (Contract)

Location: Remote but must be based in Ireland

Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our clients team on a contract basis. This role is based in Dublin and will require 2-3 days onsite per week. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development and at least 8 years of hands-on experience working on enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages
Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
Ensure performance tuning and code optimization across Oracle databases
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
Support and maintain existing PL/SQL applications

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (12c or later preferred)
Experience with ETL
Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with data modeling and relational database design
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Background in Financial Services or large-scale enterprise environments
