On Behalf of our Client based in Shannon, we are currently sourcing a Projects Manager to join their Team. The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver successful outcomes in a diverse portfolio of capital improvement projects and operational projects. The job holder will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralised data room for storing and accessing key engineering drawings, surveys and other technical documentation.

Key areas of Responsibility:

  1. Plan and manage Opex and selected Capex projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, operational efficiency and passenger experience.
  2. Coordinate project scope, budgeting, scheduling and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  3. Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Establish and maintain a centralised digital data room to store and manage key engineering documentation such as drawings, surveys, reports and project records.
  5. Implement systems and processes for efficient data retrieval and ensure compliance with data security.
  6. Adhere to public procurement guidelines, ensuring compliance and competitive procedures are followed.
  7. Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

The Candidate should have:

  1. A recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field to bachelor's degree level.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
  3. Knowledge of aviation and airport environment would be an advantage.
  4. Must have experience of project management.
  5. Skilled user of engineering software, project management tools (AutoCAD etc), MS Office and BIM System.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  7. Possess a high level of drive and energy and the ability to make things happen.
