We are partnered with a leading global biopharmaceutical company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the production and optimization of biopharmaceutical products, ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with regulatory standards and achieve high-quality outcomes. You will be instrumental in scaling up bioprocesses, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring junior associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform upstream and/or downstream bioprocess operations, including cell culture, fermentation, purification, and formulation of biopharmaceutical products.
  • Lead the execution and monitoring of manufacturing batches, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyze process data and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Process Development, and Engineering, to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain and calibrate process equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Document all manufacturing activities accurately and thoroughly, including deviations, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to process validation, technology transfer, and scale-up initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure best practices are implemented.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or bioprocessing, with a strong understanding of GMP.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting bioprocessing equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography systems, and filtration units.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
