We are hiring Medical Senior House Officers (SHO) for leading hospitals in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, review, and record patient findings as directed by the attending consultant and/or nursing staff.
- Order investigations such as radiography, blood tests, and function tests as needed by the management plan.
- Administer prescription drugs to patients according to the consultant's instructions.
- Participate in ward rounds.
- Complete discharge procedures using electronic discharge letters.
- Support the education of workers, medical students, and colleagues.
- Address negative events experienced by patients, guests, or employees, such as accidents or unexpected illnesses.
- Participate in risk management and quality improvement projects.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and blood guidelines.
- Observe health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Current registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Proper work permission for private hospital employment.
- Experience in a medical emergency room.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
