Overview

Gallagher Ireland, part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, is seeking several Commercial Account Executives in Dublin, Wexford, and Limerick. These are full-time, permanent roles. Our Ireland team has over 100 years of combined insurance experience, offering business, personal, and financial insurance solutions to protect what matters most to our clients.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Manage client and prospect relationships, growing your portfolio with suitable insurance and risk management solutions.
  • Negotiate with insurers for optimal coverage and terms.
  • Manage your workload to service clients effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Keep client information and sales plans updated.
  • Proactively develop a sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with Gallagher teams, treating others fairly and respectfully.
  • Manage renewals within required timelines, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Gather renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
  • Prepare and issue submissions to markets and clients, including renewal terms and policy documents.
  • Maintain MCC compliance and CPD hours (4 hours quarterly), adhering to legislative and compliance standards.
  • Advise customers on policy implications, conditions, and exclusions.

About You

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in an insurance brokerage environment.
  • This role requires MCC certification, with a minimum of Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) and working towards MDI qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products, and services, with a strong industry network.
