Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity in Dublin, Ireland for a graduate to work within our Traffic Engineering & Consulting Team. This team, one of the largest dedicated Traffic Engineering Teams in the UK&I, focuses on developing engineering measures to ensure safe and efficient movement of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. Responsibilities include developing and appraising practical solutions considering traffic flows, road geometry, cycle facilities, traffic signs, pavement engineering, traffic signals, and intelligent transport systems. Our goal is to optimize the use of limited urban space to create safer, more pleasant streets for communities.

Candidates will use industry-leading software and BIM modeling programs on various projects, including:

  • Road & Street design
  • Cycle lane design
  • Bus Priority and BRT Design
  • Streetscape improvement projects
  • Traffic management planning and design
  • Traffic signal design
  • Traffic signage design
  • Traffic modeling (micro-simulation)
Qualifications:
  • BEng in Civil or General Engineering, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above
  • MEng in Civil or General Engineering, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above (advantageous)
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, technically proficient, ambitious
  • Good report writing skills (beneficial)
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and collaborate with the team
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
