Maintenance Team Lead

Purpose

To oversee production operations, maintenance, ensuring equipment, processes, and teams deliver safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day production activities including scheduling, equipment care, and process improvement.
  • Coordinate with management to meet delivery schedules and inventory targets.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources (materials, equipment, people).
  • Monitor and improve processes to maintain quality and reduce downtime.
  • Lead and support the development, training, and performance of the production team.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and safe working practices.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and employee engagement.

  • Achievement of output and delivery targets

  • Equipment uptime and efficiency

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering (preferably in Injection Moulding/Polymers) desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/operations role.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Understanding of quality systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
