The ideal candidate will drive reasonable accommodation/adjustment policy, process, and assessment management across EMEA, ensure local legislation compliance, and support the integration of the program to support the EHS team's overall goal of creating a safe, healthy workplace with equal opportunities for all. This role requires the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to have strong technological proficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of the Global Food Safety strategy.
  2. Identify and ensure compliance across all locations with local food safety regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensure the development of best-in-class risk management controls & procedures for global food operations.
  4. Develop and direct the implementation of the company audit & inspection program.
  5. Act as the internal expert to all levels of the organization for all food safety matters.
  6. Oversee the development and execution of the food safety training program.
  7. Partner with internal and external stakeholders ensuring collective internal and external adherence to food safety standards.
  8. Identify, track & present KPIs to monitor the effectiveness and performance of the global food safety program.
  9. Foster an environment that promotes a positive safety culture through effective communication with all external and internal stakeholders.
  10. Support the ongoing development and assessment of the company's food program, including changing food delivery models and the introduction of new offices.
  11. Lead investigations and root cause analyses for all food safety-related incidents, ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
  12. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and third parties as required.
  13. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance. Experience within large organizations operating across multiple regions & sites is preferred.
  3. Extensive knowledge of food safety regulatory frameworks and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Certified in HACCP or other relevant food safety management programs.
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Experience with the development and implementation of food safety management systems and quality assurance tools.
  5. Strong analytical, problem solving and data analysis with insight skills.
  6. Auditing, inspection and continuous improvement skills and experience.
  7. Leadership and management experience to guide internal, vendor and business teams as applicable.
  8. Able to travel internationally.
  9. Strong stakeholder, analytical, project, vendor and product management skills.
  10. Attention to detail with strong oral/written communication and presentation skills.
