Job Summary:The Supply Chain Graduate will support the logistics and supply chain teams in various projects and tasks. This role is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Support:Assist in coordinating and managing the transportation and distribution of materials and products. Ensure timely delivery and efficient logistics operations.
  • Inventory Management:Help monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. Assist in conducting inventory audits and implementing inventory control measures.
  • Data Analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain performance, logistics costs, and inventory levels. Use data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supplier Coordination:Work with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Process Improvement:Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to support supply chain and logistics efforts.
  • Technical Documentation:Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:Internship or co-op experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems).
    • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
