Clinical Research Nurse Manager CNM1 (Clinical Trials Unit) required for Radiation Oncology Unit Dublin

  • Monday to Friday

  • Locations: Rathgar, Beaumont, and St James
Job Description

The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) Manager will be responsible for:

  • Screening potential trial patients, reviewing their medical history, histology, laboratory, and radiology reports.
  • Participating in the informed consent process, explaining trial aspects to patients, and being their contact throughout the trial.
  • Providing education, information, and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintaining trial-related logs (screening, informed consent, patient ID logs).
  • Managing the Investigator Site File.
  • Performing trial measurements, such as toxicity assessments.
  • Training site staff, including consultants, registrars, radiation therapists, and nurses.
  • Designing and completing patient packs, Case Report Forms (CRFs), and all trial documentation.
  • Following up with patients, either by phone or in clinic, where applicable.
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
  • Maintaining protocol adherence and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with at least two years of post-graduate experience.
  • Experience working in oncology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Versatility and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in coordinating clinical trials from initiation to closure is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
  • EU work permit required.
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training is mandatory for all staff involved in clinical trials.
