Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.**Job Title:** Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) **Hybrid:** For this role we are looking for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis from our office in Galway City two to three days per week.**Summary**:We are looking for a talented Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) or Software Developer to join our Artificial Intelligence teams and help building products and services to bring the benefits of our innovative technology to Genesys Customers.As an SDET, you will be designing and developing automated test frameworks and additional cloud based test infrastructure that help guarantee the quality of our software deliverables.As a member of a cross functional development team, you will be also ensuring scalability and availability of the entire platform and delivering high quality code.Candidates for this position are able to code effectively in at least one object oriented programming language and can quickly learn new techniques and languages. While SDETs primarily focus is on automation efforts of a single team, they also have a drive to understand how their work integrates with other groups in order to provide value to our customers.We also have a strong focus on Continuous Delivery with a DevOps mindset which will also give you an opportunity to work and leverage technologies such Jenkins, AWS and Docker.**Key Responsibilities:*** Work with Senior SDETs and DevOps engineers in order to expand existing test automation solutions and create new ones.* Write automated functional acceptance tests at the API and UI level.* Maintain automated test jobs in automated deployment pipelines.* Exploratory Testing to ensure functional and usability integrity.* Performance/Load Testing to ensure product meet scalability needs.* Contribute as a delivery team member through an Agile Scrum methodology representing testing and quality assurance concerns.**Minimum Requirements:*** Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines* 2 years of experience in Software Development in Test or Software Development.* Experience developing in at least one of the following OO languages – Python, Java, JavaScript.* Experience working with UI test automation frameworks such as playwright, selenium.* Experience working within Agile software development frameworks.* Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).* You have a DevOps mindset and champion Continuous Delivery best practices.* You are curious, self-driven, and you are not afraid to ask questions.**Desirable Skills:*** Experienced with API test automation frameworks such as Requests or REST Assured.* Experience with Javascript/PlayWright based UI test frameworks.* Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems such as Jenkins or similar.* Experienced with web applications and microservices.* Experience with Amazon Web Services.**Our Benefits:*** Flexible work schedules and work-from-home options* Development and career growth opportunities* Excellent pension scheme* Bonus scheme* Health Insurance* Income Protection & Life Assurance#LI-MC1If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.**About Genesys:**Genesys empowers more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries to improve loyalty and business outcomes by creating the best experiences for their customers and employees.
