GPU Power Verification Engineer - UVM / SystemVerilog

A global leader in the technology industry is seeking a GPU Power Verification Engineer to join their team onsite in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge low-power verification for high-performance computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Architecture and Design teams to understand low-power design features and develop verification plans.
  • Create and review test plans with the design team.
  • Develop verification components, testbenches, and integrate third-party VIPs/UVCs as needed.
  • Build constraint-random verification environments using System Verilog and UVM.
  • Conduct Power-Aware Verification with embedded firmware running on designs.
  • Achieve low-power coverage metrics to ensure high-quality design.
  • Develop reusable test setups and verification components across simulation and emulation platforms.
  • Debug failures involving hardware and software co-debugging.
  • Work with tool vendors to improve verification methodologies.
  • Perform system-level RTL simulation and design verification.
  • Support SoC DV for integration, chip bring-up, and post-silicon debug.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in System Verilog, OVM/UVM-based constrained random verification.
  • 1+ years of experience in developing verification components, UVCs, and RTL testbenches.
  • 1+ years of experience in testbench bring-up, integrating third-party VIPs, and debugging.
  • 1+ years of experience in UPF-based Power-Aware Verification.
  • 1+ years of experience in functional and/or code coverage closure.
  • Familiarity with low-power SoC design constructs (e.g., clock gates, level shifters, isolation cells).
  • Experience with low-power coverage metrics collection and closure.
  • Knowledge of GPU/CPU/DDR/Bus.
  • Scripting skills in Python.
