Meet the team

We are looking for a creative digital designer to join our Product Design Team, a person who, collaborating closely with RTÉ's product teams, will create visually impactful and engaging digital assets to promote RTÉ content on our services and on other streaming platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Design and UX, you will work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple teams and disciplines across RTÉ.

You will help deliver impactful image and graphical imagery that will engage and attract our audience. You will be tasked with creating boxset artwork, episodic images, social media posts, teasers and trailers for RTÉ Player and distribution across a range platforms, connected TV and mobile devices.

About you
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in graphic design, photo editing, design for social media, and illustration
  • Knowledge of design systems, brand identity, and visual storytelling
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and other industry-standard graphic design tools
  • Familiar with photography, video production, and video editing techniques
  • An understanding about RTÉ's content offerings and product landscape
Nice to have
  • Knowledge and experience of designing for print, including layout and production
  • Experience in developing promotional or campaign assets

This appointment will be made at the Senior Web Designer grade and is being offered on an ongoing contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €49,735 to €66,794 gross per annum.
