An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Compliance to join a dynamic and forward-thinking international Wealth Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company adheres to regulatory obligations and maintains high standards of compliance across its operations.

The Job

  • Act as the Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)
  • Advise line management on applicable regulatory obligations and ensure compliance with these obligations
  • Provide training to management and employees to promote a positive compliance culture
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with core stakeholders, including regulators
  • Support the design and execution of a comprehensive monitoring program to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist in establishing effective systems and controls to minimize regulatory risks
  • Represent the business at relevant industry forums to share best practices

The Candidate

  • Degree qualified along with a recognised professional compliance qualification
  • Experience in compliance or regulatory oversight at a senior level
  • Prior PCF approval from the CBOI
  • Direct working knowledge within a MiFID firm
  • Good knowledge of the wealth management industry
  • Strong understanding of Client Assets Regulation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
