Retail Supervisor – The Mallow N20 Plaza

The Mallow N20 Plaza requires an experienced Retail & Forecourt Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in delivering store targets (sales & profitability) through effective store operations and personnel management.

Availability: Monday to Sunday, with morning, middle, and evening shifts.

Requirements:

  1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
The Role:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising the activities of the retail sales team daily and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Providing high-quality and consistent customer service at all times.
  • Delegating tasks and communicating effectively with the retail sales team.
  • Ensuring the store is merchandised in a customer-friendly and competitive manner, complying with company procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintaining optimal store housekeeping.
  • Coordinating in-store sales and promotions.
  • Assisting the manager in managing staff, ensuring compliance with labour law, HACCP, Health & Safety, and Consumer Legislation.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential hazards in the store.
Person Specification:
  • Experience in petrol forecourt operations is a distinct advantage.
  • Operational knowledge of the retail grocery environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of consumer needs.
  • Knowledge of labour law, health & safety regulations, HACCP, and consumer law.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to anticipate and react to market changes.
  • Commitment to continually improving standards.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
