Role OverviewWe are seeking experienced and dynamic Centre Managers responsible for overseeing the management duties, including the day-to-day running of the creche centre, and leading and inspiring the staff team with best practice standards. - Develop, deliver, and manage daily operations to ensure a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children, compliant with all regulatory requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of children's age and stage-appropriate holistic needs and development
- Commit to raising standards in early learning and care, modeling best practices to an outstanding level
- Implement the company's REACH curriculum, demonstrating links between early childcare education theory and practice aligned with Aistear and Siolta frameworks
- Enforce all company policies, procedures, health and safety, and risk assessments as per Childcare Regulations
- Exhibit effective people and business management skills, covering all aspects of the role
- Implement child protection policies in accordance with Children First guidelines
- Lead the development and evaluation of programs and activities fostering culturally sensitive learning environments
- Minimum FETAC / QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent
- At least five years in the childcare sector, with a minimum of two years in a management role
- Strong passion for child development and needs
- Full clean EU driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to liaise with parents and build partnerships
- Experience in team management and supporting personal development
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage occupancy levels, targets, deadlines, and budgets
- Understanding of TUSLA guidelines
Applicants must be willing to provide references, undergo Garda Vetting, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the EU. Police clearance is required if the applicant has lived outside Ireland for more than six consecutive months since age 18.
