R&D Program Director

We're looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to oversee a cross-functional team focused on developing and commercialising innovative medical technologies. This is a chance to shape the future of healthcare and make a difference in patients' lives worldwide.

About the Role:

As the Core Team Leader, you will manage the entire lifecycle of new product development, from concept to manufacturing and global launch. This leadership role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about solving complex challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the Vision: Develop and lead strategic plans for procedural accessories, fostering innovation and market growth.
  • Lead Programs: Manage complex programs across functions, handling risk, timelines, resources, and communication.
  • Build High-Performing Teams: Inspire and mentor professionals to achieve project success.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading program execution and managing key deliverables across teams and regions
  • Defining and executing portfolio strategies for procedural accessory products
  • Aligning engineering, operations, quality, and regional teams
  • Driving financial planning and forecasting
  • Communicating strategically with senior leadership
  • Representing the portfolio at industry events and meetings with clinical leaders

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field
  • 10+ years in product development or project management (8+ with an advanced degree)
  • 7+ years in leadership roles

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven success in medical technology product development
  • Experience with catheter-based or interventional systems
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures and engagement with key opinion leaders
