SEPAM/Energy 2 Transition are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Renewable Energy Project-based team in Ireland. This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful delivery of the project, aligning with our commitment to safety, quality, timing, and environmental standards.
This is a great opportunity to work on impactful projects that contribute to sustainable energy solutions.

The successful candidate will become the driving force behind our Renewable Energy projects. You'll be managing a multi-disciplinary team for Transmission & Distribution projects. You can expect variety and travel, visiting client sites to independently discuss, define, and verify client requirements and reflecting the output in high-quality proposals and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction of the energy substation from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating effective communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans as necessary to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver project components efficiently.
  • Ensure that all project activities adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and assessments, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the construction of energy projects, ideally with a focus on solar energy.
