Occupli Consultancy is seeking an experienced Machinery Safety Engineer to support machine safety systems and process-related projects.

This role involves working on Machinery Safety Assessments and supports engineering and programming tasks.

For system installation, we collaborate with clients and subcontractors, overseeing their work and providing expertise.

Depending on your experience level, we will help you further develop your expertise in machine safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on safety concepts and possible solutions.
  • Conducting Machinery Safety Role assessments.
  • Supporting clients in selecting and implementing safety protections.
  • Preparing risk assessments, FAT and SAT documents, as-built documentation, and technical files.
  • Maintaining long-term relationships with clients, continuing collaboration even after system delivery.
  • Working independently on multiple projects, with larger projects overseen by a project manager.
  • Applying Wraps methodology.
  • Utilizing M-Coms.
  • Site-based or hybrid work options may be available after initial onboarding.
  • Providing site project support alongside Occupli's Senior EHS Engineer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a technical environment (electromechanics or automation) or in machine safety, functional safety, or safety systems.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to understand the functional operation of installations.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Certification as CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) and training in TUV Safety of Machinery ISO 13849 and IEC 62061.
