Job Type: Temporary contract (3-6 months)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, year-end accounts and future forecasts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role plays a critical part in supporting the business through financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cashflow.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support external audit processes.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support ad hoc finance projects as required.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA).
- 2+ years post-qualification experience in a similar financial accounting role.
- Strong understanding of Irish tax and accounting standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
