Job Description:

SPECIFIC PURPOSE, PART TIME (0.62 WTE) CONTRACT

The Ultrasound service is part of a dynamic and growing healthcare facility catering to the health needs of women at all stages during pregnancy and the postnatal period, in addition to gynaecological assessment.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife or eligible for registration with NMBI
  • Registered Radiographer/Sonographer or eligible for registration with CORU with a diploma in obstetric ultrasound
  • Post-Graduate qualification in Ultrasound or other relevant diploma, or committed to undertaking such studies within 3 years
  • Post-registration five years' experience
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in obstetrics/gynaecology ultrasound
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Effective communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in managing a team and workload
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, training, and research
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience working in various models of midwifery care
