RealTime is looking for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to lead a site reliability team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems to support growth and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include monitoring and remediating system, security, and network issues. You will also be involved in designing and developing tooling, monitoring, self-service reporting, and establishing policies for incident, change, and problem management.

Skills & Responsibilities
  • 7+ years in senior technical roles: DevOps, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering
  • Experience with designing, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for 24x7 environments
  • Strong cloud experience, ideally with Azure (also AWS, GCP)
  • Monitoring fundamentals: SNMP, WMI, Synthetic Transaction Engines
  • Experience with open-source monitoring tools: Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
  • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python
  • Monitoring tools: Open Tracing, Open Telemetry
  • APM tools: Elastic, DataDog, New Relic
  • Networking knowledge
  • Storage and virtualization: iSCSI/FC SAN/NAS/DAS, VMware, Hyper-V
  • Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP
  • Design and develop monitoring solutions for alerting and troubleshooting
  • Technical leadership, scripting, tooling, and automation expertise
  • Incident triage and resolution documentation
  • Collaborate with support, security, engineering, and customers
