Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities

The outsourced activities controller acts as a second line of defence by monitoring and testing the performance, compliance, and quality of outsourced activities delegated to partners, including financial partners, third-party administrators, and telemarketing providers.

  • Monitor and test delegated activities such as Sales and Distribution Processes, Subscriptions, Claims and Complaints Handling, adherence to SLAs, Fraud, FOS checks, AML checks, BCP checks, Data protection, and IT security.
  • Analyze data from scorecards to monitor partner performance.
  • Deliver consolidated reports on control results.
  • Coordinate with Risk to integrate control results into risk assessments.
  • Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and address new requirements.
Partner onsite and/or remote controls:
  • Perform onsite and remote controls of partner processes to ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory standards, including pre-control, control, and post-control phases.
  • Assess partner remediation plans and define effectiveness.
  • Monitor additional gaps identified within business teams.
Processes and Procedures:
  • Maintain up-to-date procedures in response to operational and regulatory changes.
  • Identify system and process gaps and implement corrective measures.
  • Participate in project work.
Training:
  • Support training programs and preparations.
