We are seeking a PMO Analyst to join our financial services client on a 6-month daily rate contract. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced project environment. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Project Management Office (PMO), assisting with governance, reporting, and coordination to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project governance by maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with PMO standards.
  • Assist in tracking project milestones, risks, and dependencies, updating reports as required.
  • Work closely with project managers to provide administrative support and maintain project records.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-ups to support project execution.
  • Assist with resource tracking and financial reporting within the project portfolio.
  • Maintain and update project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence).
  • Support the continuous improvement of PMO processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a PMO or project support role.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Previous exposure to the financial services sector is a plus.
