A multi-franchise nationwide service and repair company specialising in Thermo King transport refrigeration, Dhollandia hydraulic tail lifts, and fleet maintenance for light commercial vehicles has an opportunity for a Parts Advisor.

This is an immediate requirement for a Spare Parts Advisor in a Dublin facility in Dublin 24 working directly with the home delivery workshop (Mercedes & Iveco parts).

A direct parts advising background or similar within a motor factor or dealership environment is desired.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist inhouse mechanics in identifying and sourcing automotive parts and accessories
  • Provide expert advice on parts and related services
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Process parts orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts inventory
  • Manage stock levels and ensure parts are stored properly
  • Collaborate with mechanics, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service to the workshop while handling queries and resolving parts-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and parts
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • A genuine interest in the automotive industry
