Role Summary:

We are looking for a Team Lead to join our team in Dublin and build out our next-generation enterprise Intrusion application. You'll lead a talented and collaborative team of developers in designing and delivering a cutting-edge enterprise application. This high-volume system leverages an event-driven architecture to enable seamless communication with hundreds of thousands of devices, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability in a global context.

What You'll Do:
  • Define and communicate team objectives, prioritise feature development based on business impact, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Take ownership of team performance and workload distribution. Manage team communications, both within the team and with external teams.
  • Collaborate on system design, building canonical components, delivering clean, maintainable, well-designed and tested code for microservices, front-end components, APIs, data manipulation and communication interfaces.
  • Mentor team members and offer technical guidance.
  • Lead code reviews, and encourage constant improvement, ensuring that applications follow best practices.
  • Analyse and debug complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate on agile sprint planning and delivery.
  • Manage performance reviews and celebrate team wins.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends, share your knowledge and experience across the team and foster a culture of innovation.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • Minimum 2 years leading software teams with a people-first leadership style, fostering team health, collaboration, and predictable deliveries.
  • 6+ years' experience with ASP.NET Core and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (Flutter preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern enterprise application design.
  • Experience with REST APIs, inter-service communication, and databases (SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • Experience building cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Docker, DevOps pipelines, Linux, and bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with pub-sub architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Proficient in Unit & Integration Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with TCP/IP, IoT, and device integration, with a passion for learning and innovation.
