Overview

Mechanical Supervisor – Dublin. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations and maintenance across residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing mechanical teams, ensuring quality workmanship, compliance with safety standards, and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical work on residential and commercial construction sites, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Monitor daily work progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Manage, train, and motivate mechanical teams to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Assist in procurement and inventory management of mechanical materials and equipment.
  • Report progress, incidents, and any deviations to senior management promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in mechanical supervision, preferably in residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
