Overview

Join to apply for the Data Quality Analyst role at emagine. We are currently hiring a Data Quality Analyst to join our client in the utilities sector. emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain data catalogues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of information.
  • Develop and update data dictionaries, capturing definitions, metadata, and lineage.
  • Map and document data flows across systems and business processes.
  • Analyse and evaluate datasets to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Support the configuration and monitoring of events in Aveva PI, ensuring effective capture of operational data.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data governance, standards, and controls.
  • Document findings, processes, and recommendations in a clear and structured way.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data quality, data governance, or data analysis roles.
  • Hands-on experience with data cataloguing, data dictionaries creation, and data flow documentation.
  • Familiarity with Aveva PI or similar historian / time-series data platforms (deep expertise not required – SME support available).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
