Jewellery Stock Controller & Administrative Assistant

Stock Controller & Administrative Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Location: Stillorgan & Grafton Street Branch, Dublin

Salary: Up to €20.00 per hour

Hours: 21–40 hours per week (flexible schedule available)

About the Role

Rocks Jewellers, a trusted independent, family-run business, is seeking a Stock Controller & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing stock using an electronic stock management system, processing orders and invoices, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced retail environment. We welcome applicants for both part-time and full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management: Input and manage stock with a high level of accuracy.
  • Order Processing: Handle online orders, invoices, and brand orders.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate sales and stock reports.
  • Communication: Respond to emails and phone inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with daily operational tasks and liaise with suppliers and brands.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience working with EPOS systems.
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt efficiently.
  • Comfortable analysing and generating reports.
  • Ability to multitask in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Photoshop knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while taking direction from management.

Desirable:

  • Previous retail experience.
  • Background in data entry and administrative support.
  • Knowledge of Pursuit Management System (preferred but not required).

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday (flexible working hours available).
  • Location Requirement: Applicants must be able to commute reliably to Dublin city centre and Stillorgan.
  • Work Authorisation: Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of administration experience.
  • Language: Fluent English required.
