Overview

Siemens Healthineers is hiring an Automated Test Equipment Development Engineer for our facility in Swords, Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • You design and assemble largely automated test fixtures (comprising full electromechanical and software elements) ensuring they meet quality and safety standards (CE marking).
  • You improve existing test fixture designs to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • You create requirements and robust designs to meet business needs, while developing validation and verification plans which ensure test fixture functionality and reliability.
  • You analyze test data to determine and eliminate root causes of issues using sound engineering principles.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in a test fixture development role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering technical discipline.
  • Strong manufacturing, mechanical/electromechanical/automation design skillset.
  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Labview, C, C++, C.
