Access Talent Group is collaborating with a globally renowned design consultancy seeking an Energy Engineer specialising in Renewable Energy Projects to join their expanding team in Dublin or Cork.

Our client is an industry leader in delivering innovative energy solutions. They specialise in renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar energy infrastructure, energy storage, and grid integration. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the transition towards sustainable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop renewable energy systems, including wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, energy modelling, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to optimise energy solutions.
  • Support grid connection planning and infrastructure development.
  • Prepare planning applications, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Utilise energy modelling software, GIS tools, and relevant design platforms.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in renewable energy, power systems, or grid infrastructure within the Irish or UK market is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, energy storage systems, and grid integration (desirable).
  • Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with energy modelling software, grid connection processes, and Irish energy regulations.
