Construction Plant Fitting Apprenticeship Programme 2025

As we continue to grow, were launching our 2025 Apprenticeship Programme and looking for driven, hands-on individual ready to kickstart a career in Construction Plant Fitting.

Location: Longford | Duration: 4 years | Qualification: QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft

What Youll Be Doing

As a Glancy Enviro apprentice, youll learn the ins and outs of maintaining and repairing high-value construction equipment. Youll gain practical, on-the-job experience working with:

  • Mobile machinery like diggers, HGVs, LCVs, and dumper trucks
  • Stationary equipment such as generators, water pumps, and compressors
  • Diagnostics and fault-finding (including electrical systems)
  • Welding, fitting, and mechanical repairs

Youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, minimising downtime and supporting the wider team on the ground.

Important

This opportunity is open only to eligible applicants under the national apprenticeship scheme.

You Must
  • Be aged 16 or over
  • Have completed a minimum of Junior Certificate or equivalent
  • Be available for full-time on-the-job training and off-site block release phases
  • Be legally permitted to work in Ireland
