Our client, a leading Electrical & Mechanical Engineering contractor are looking to hire a HVAC/Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer for their Dublin / Kildare based projects.

Role overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimising, and troubleshooting AC units to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations.

Skills and Requirements

  • Time served Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineer with a minimum of FETAC Level 6 complete with F-Gas registration
  • Thorough understanding of various types of air conditioning systems, components, and associated controls, along with demonstrated expertise in maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing AC system issues and executing preventive maintenance following manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to AC system maintenance.
  • Experience with advanced AC technologies, smart controls, and energy-efficient solutions in air conditioning systems would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and their application in enhancing the energy efficiency of AC systems.
  • Previous involvement in the commercial and industrial sectors with a focus on boiler maintenance and additional mechanical systems would be preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid/Full clean drivers licence
