We are currently hiring Summer Assistants to join our team in Cork, supporting the influx of locals and tourists during the summer, with the mission to promote the vibrant City of Cork.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of our space Use charisma and charm when checking guests in and out
  • Resolve guest queries promptly and helpfully
  • Manage bookings and payments
  • Respond to guest requests via in person, phone, email, or review sites professionally and empathetically
  • Maintain administration duties including reporting
  • Set up and clear spaces throughout the season
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping as required
  • Change linens
  • Report maintenance requests accurately
  • Manage room keys
  • Assist with cleaning and room turnover
  • Update and check daily cleaning and handover lists
  • Manage stock rotation and room checks
Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills; a true people person
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and staff
  • Good time management for busy days
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment
  • Experience in housekeeping or willingness to learn
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence with office computer systems; experience with booking systems is a plus
  • Flexibility to work hours from 8am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday
