The Kepak Group are looking to recruit a Maintenance Fabricator to cover our manufacturing facility in Athleague, Co. Roscommon. This is a full-time, permanent position and will be responsible for fabrication function on site.

What to expect in the job
  • Fabricating and welding of bespoke equipment for the site
  • Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance
  • Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team
  • Assist in the repair of industrial production equipment such as high-speed machines, conveyors, packaging machines, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulics
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines
  • Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up & running within optimum time frame
  • Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues
  • Adhere to company safety policies at all times
Requirements
  • Must be able to Tig Weld SS pipe and Box Section
  • Must also be able to design fabricate and fit line upgrades or modifications required
  • Relevant Trade Certified Qualification
  • At least 1 year\'s post qualification experience
  • Background within manufacturing/industrial business, preferably within food or packaging industries but not essential
  • IT literate and experienced in automation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, enthusiastic, hardworking and energetic
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be available to work Tuesday - Saturday. Day Shift Only (7am-4pm/8am-5pm)
