We are now recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Finance Business Process Analyst, you will lead and support deployments and help to design, build, test and deploy the Seamless Flow solution for SAP Finance by working closely with cross stream team members, business members and applicable consulting partners. This role requires a deep expertise in SAP Finance solution and other connected systems. An Analyst must demonstrate the ability to interpret business challenges across multiple programs and recommend the best solution and practices to improve the end-to-end transport solution and business processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

This Business Analyst role will be aligned to the Finance functional area, they will lead out on the General Accounting and SAP Finance Masterdata areas with specific focus on Revenue Recognition and month end reporting into OneStream.

  • Analyse and Map Financial Processes: Evaluate existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • SAP Process Optimization: Be an SAP Finance SME, guiding design and implementation of process improvements to streamline finance operations. Work with business / process owners to ensure the designs being produced, in line with business expectations and meet their requirements
  • Solution Design: Peer reviewing change requests relating to the Finance space prior to moving forward to Business Area Design Authority approval
  • Root Cause Analysis of Recurring Incidents: Collaborate with IT to investigate and resolve recurring financial system issues by conducting root cause analysis, identifying underlying problems, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure business requirements are met and that changes are implemented effectively.
  • System Change Support: Assist in all stages of system change projects and programs, support finance with the introduction of new solutions and processes from design to build, test, training, cutover and hyper care.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain clear documentation of financial processes, system configurations, and best practices; provide training to end-users as necessary.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that financial processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain accountability.
  • Monitor KPIs: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of process improvements and identify further opportunities for optimization.
  • Change Management: Lead or support change management initiatives related to financial processes, including communicating changes, training staff, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Other Adhoc duties as requested by management

Experience

  • 15+ years PQE
  • Previous business analyst / process change experience required
  • SME in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA financials
  • In Depth knowledge of Financial Controllership, Revenue Accounting IFRS 15 and SAP Finance Masterdata Management
  • Working knowledge of OneStream and connectivity with SAP an advantage
  • Working knowledge of System 21 / Aurora advantageous
