Medforce are seeking a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our client's expanding Children's Disability Service in Drogheda/Bettystown. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with communication needs.
This position is ideal for someone who is currently in the process of obtaining CORU registration or recent graduates.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Speech and Language Therapists in delivering therapy programmes.
- Support children in developing communication skills through structured activities.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support therapy goals.
- Prepare therapy materials and resources as required.
- Monitor and record children's progress under the guidance of qualified therapists.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a healthcare or educational setting.
- A qualification in speech and language therapy assistance.
- Full, clean Driver's License and access to own vehicle.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow therapy plans.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
