Senior Software Development Engineer - Frontend

Responsibilities
  • Provide direction to UI architectural design decisions.
  • Lead the coding of software designs and delegate tasks to increase team capacity.
  • Develop achievable release objectives with your team and ensure maintainability, extensibility, and performance of the UI codebase.
  • Grow the capability and capacity of dedicated UI Engineers and cross-skilled Application Developers through coaching and support.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, Quality Assurance, Docs, and Customer Support.
  • Implement best practice activities to ensure long-term quality and performance of the UI.
  • Drive innovation in products, features, and organizational processes.
About You

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Engineer with strong development skills who can influence product strategy and implementation within Workday Learning.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing enterprise software products.
  • Significant Front-End development experience creating RESTful Web applications within the React ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable track record in technical leadership - people, product, and process.
Other Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong, trust-based cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Nx build infrastructure.
  • Experience with WCAG and accessible UI development.
