GPC Finance is delighted to collaborate with a forward-thinking accounting firm located in Meath. With over three decades of experience, this well-established practice offers top-notch chartered accountancy services to its extensive client base. Currently, they are in search of an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team, delivering a wide range of accounting services to clients.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operational supervision of assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables.
  2. Management of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and coordination of service offerings from other departments.
  3. Involvement in training of student trainees.
  4. Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
  5. Preparation and completion of audit/audit-exempt financial statements.
  6. Preparation of tax returns.
  7. Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections.
  8. Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc., and also Revenue audits.
  9. Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal.
  10. Ensure completion of assignments within the appropriate budget and timeframe.
  11. Carry out assignments in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. 1+ years of general accounting practice experience.
  2. An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
  3. Currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
  4. Experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships.
  5. Some tax experience is desirable.

Salary & Benefits:

  1. €50,000 – €60,000.
  2. Bonus.
