About the Role:

As the Head of Compliance, you will be integral to the leadership of Shuttle. This role will focus on the continual development, execution, and oversight of our risk management framework, as well as ensuring compliance with the regulatory environment. This position will report directly to the executive team and the board.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and oversee Shuttle's risk management framework.
• Regular reporting to the executive team and board on risk management and compliance matters.
• Identify, assess, and report risks that might affect business objectives, operations, or profitability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards including, but not limited to, the Central Bank of Ireland's requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Liaise with and manage any regulatory inspections or inquiries.
• Provide guidance to the wider team on compliance and risk-related matters.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant changes in financial regulations and compliance laws, adapting company procedures as required.
• Conduct or direct internal investigations of compliance issues.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the financial services industry (experience holding PCF-12, PCF-14 or PCF-52 functions with the Central Bank of Ireland is desired but not required).
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, risk management principles, and compliance standards in the financial services sector.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executive teams, boards, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional ethics, integrity, and objectivity.
