Title: Quality Controller

  • Someone who can easily attend our site in Bray, Co. Wicklow either by living locally or by driving.

Duties:
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements set by the company and regulatory authorities, including adherence to standards, and maintaining the HACCP system.
  • Monitor the production floor to ensure all products are being produced in a safe and efficient manner, that the product is made as per the SOP, and that the quality is satisfactory.
  • Assisting in the overall management of the Food Safety & Quality Management System at the site.
  • Reporting to senior management any specific breakdown in the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
  • Aid with the maintenance of the HACCP based system on site.
  • Investigating customer complaints, identifying root causes, and collaborating with the management team to resolve issues.
  • Conducting internal audits, product testing, and verification to monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards.
  • Preparation, trending, and analysis of key quality metrics including weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Supporting non-conforming issues.
  • Flag related issues with the Food Safety & Quality Manager in a timely manner.
  • Provide internal training and obtain sign off.
  • Ensure that the code of conduct is considered in all business matters carried out.
