Overview:

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Assurance Testing Analyst to join our GVSPE team and ensure that our organization is in compliance with all regulations, laws, and policies. This is a hybrid role, based in our Swords office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Execute monitoring tasks in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  2. Proven experience related to regulatory compliance testing/monitoring.
  3. Proven experience with law and regulations in the financial industry.
  4. Prepare output reports detailing observations, findings, and recommendations for review by Senior Manager.
  5. Issuance of final reports to relevant first line functions and ensure findings are remediated where needed and brought to resolution.
  6. Present findings and recommendations to the Director of Compliance.
  7. Assist the Senior Manager in review and updating of compliance policies and procedures.
  8. Assist in the delivery of compliance training program.
  9. Apply analytical skills to review information and determine potential weaknesses or exceptions to policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience related to regulatory compliance testing/monitoring.
  2. Knowledge of EU regulations and key regulatory developments would be an advantage.
  3. Highly motivated individual who has a proven record of using initiative to resolve problems.
  4. Analytical ability to identify and understand problems as well as to provide effective solutions.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  6. Attention to detail.
  7. A minimum of 1 year related compliance experience.
  8. LCOI or other certifications are a plus.
  9. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills essential.
  10. A team player and effective communicator to ensure that issues are appropriately resolved.
  11. Ability to deal effectively with multiple competing deadlines.
  12. Positive, innovative attitude and the ability to take on new assignments and projects with an open mind.
