We are actively looking for an IT Service and Asset Analyst to support our growing Howden UK&I IT team within the Change Management Function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the IT Change Manager to gain a comprehensive understanding of the asset register and help pinpoint key data assets.
2. Conduct analysis of data assets to ascertain:
   1. data owners
   2. data classification (eg, PII) and assign criticality (SC1-4) using internal methodology
3. Map and document/diagram the data lineage through the UK&I Retail systems and services
4. Review and document data sources (eg external/third-party senders, UK&I hosted SFTPs, automation of logic apps/data pipelines etc)
5. Document the flow from source through our platforms (including data warehouse and storage solutions)
6. Include details of any dashboards and who consumes the information

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. Able to engage with stakeholders, host meetings and workshops
2. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
3. Ability to apply a classification matrix and gain peer review to sign off
4. Ability to work collaboratively across various departments to achieve objectives
