Job Description:

Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to the independent automotive aftermarket in Europe. It operates in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands and more recently Ireland.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (GPC), the largest worldwide automotive parts distributor with activities in North America, Europe, and Australasia. AAG's network is serving thousands of customers across Europe supported by a logistics infrastructure of 80 Distribution Centers, 2 Stores, as well as 7 Repair Centers.

Due to our growth and expansion within our motor factor network, we are looking for Parts Advisors to join our team.

Having recently entered the Irish market, this is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic, highly motivated automotive professionals to help establish and expand our brand in Ireland. As Part Advisor, responsibilities will include:

  • Taking orders for car parts over the telephone and counter, upselling to increase invoice value.
  • Outbound calling to raise customer awareness and achieve higher sales.
  • Building long-term rapport with local customers.
  • Actively promote offers, discounts, and customer competitions.
  • Limiting credits and returns by ordering and sending the right car parts the first time.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Punctual, organised, and efficient whilst working towards deadlines.
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic when speaking with customers.
  • Able to demonstrate empathy towards customers.
  • Professional and possess excellent communication skills.
