Our client, a globally recognised pioneer in Biotechnology, is recruiting for the position of Maintenance Planner. Responsibilities:
  1. Support and guide the team in the effective maintenance and continuous improvements of production, utility (Clean and Black) equipment/systems and site facilities.
  2. Support and guide the team in the development of new and updates to existing SOPs & Work Instructions.
  3. Develop close relationships with team members through regular one-to-one meetings and effective performance management.
  4. Lead the Daily Tier 1 meetings, prioritise activities and report up to the Tier 2 daily meeting.
  5. Identify and make recommendations for improvements as leader of the team within or outside the department to ensure continuous improvement.
  6. Support project delivery as needed through procedure development, FAT, SAT and validation of production and utility equipment/systems.
  7. Act as a gatekeeper during project gate reviews to ensure the handover of drawings and documents reflects the final As-Built state.
  8. Ensure new assets are registered on the site CMMS system (PEMAC) and integrated into the Asset Care Schedule of PM and Calibration Routines.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  1. Min Level 7 Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent training/experience.
  2. Minimum 10+ years' experience within the Pharma, Biopharma sector or Med Device.
  3. 3 – 5 years in a coordinator role.
  4. Experience working in a cGMP/FDA/HPRA-regulated environment is essential as well as hands-on experience in maintaining production and utility equipment/systems.
  5. Trades qualification an advantage.
  6. Knowledge of Automation and Electrical Systems an advantage.
  7. Project management experience and/or certification an advantage.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  9. Professional, proactive demeanour.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
